What This Service Is

The site explains how to find California arrest records and booking-photo resources through county, court, state, federal, and other official sources. It directs readers to county sites and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation locator.

California Busted Mugshots keeps no official roster, custody file, or court record. It cannot confirm that a person is in custody, release anyone, or file a request or court document on a visitor’s behalf.

Rules for Site Use

Use the site lawfully and respect other people’s safety and privacy. By continuing, you agree that you will not:

• Break a law or encourage another person to do so;
• Stalk, threaten, harass, or dox anyone;
• Use site information for a decision covered by the FCRA;
• Try to enter systems or accounts without permission;

Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

California Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not create credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services, and advertising partners do not make those services available through this site. You agree not to use information here for an FCRA-covered purpose, including:

• Hiring, firing, or another employment decision;
• Tenant or housing screening;

Links may lead to county rosters, sheriff and corrections pages, courts, federal locators, county subdomains, legal resources, and third-party search tools. A link is not an endorsement. California Busted Mugshots does not control the outside service’s content, data handling, price, or availability. Review that provider’s terms before using it.
